Spring Spirit Week Supports Caritas, Unitas
Friday's Pep Rally was the last Pep Rally for this crew as juniors.
Austin Prep celebrated Spirit Week March 31st through April 4th in a week that included fun events and charitable efforts in support of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The week was highlighted by the senior and faculty basketball game on Friday during Cougar Block (won by the faculty, just like every other Spirit Week challenge in recent years, but we digress), as well as the Friday afternoon winter pep rally.
Spirit Weeks at Austin Prep continue to be a philanthropic partnership between Student Government and the Office of Development benefitting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The mission of St. Jude is to advance cures, prevention, research and treatment for pediatric catastrophic diseases. Last year, Austin Prep raised over $40,000 for St. Jude and we appreciate the generosity of our students and parents in supporting St. Jude for their continued efforts in treating the toughest childhood diseases.
We hope everyone had a great week! View photos from Jersey Day and Twinning Day.

Next Community Mass is Tomorrow
Join Austin Prep clergy Sunday for Mass.
The next Monthly Community Mass will be held tomorrow, Sunday, April 6th at 9:00 a.m. in the Chapel of St. Augustine. We encourage our school families who regularly attend Sunday Mass at their local parish to consider joining us for this monthly Sunday Mass. The Mass will give us an opportunity to meet each other and pray together, at least occasionally. We will join for a time of fellowship in the Dining Hall after Mass. To help us with our planning, we would ask families to RSVP by clicking here so we can take an appropriate count for the Coffee and Donut Hour.
Students are required to attend with their parents. We look forward to seeing you April 6th as we strengthen each other through this act of celebrating Mass together. Please note that this Mass will also serve as the Spring Varsity Sports Mass.

Austin Prep Hosts Augustinian Values Institute
Austin Prep is honored to host the 21st annual Augustinian Values Institute on campus April 11-13. The Augustinian Values Institute is a directed three-day retreat-like experience based on the Augustinian core values of Truth, Unity and Love. It is sponsored and conducted by the Augustinian Secondary Education Association of the North American Provinces of the Order of Saint Augustine.
Groups of faculty, staff, board members, and other stakeholders representing each of the 11 Augustinian high schools of North America, and guests from around the world, will converge on campus to pray together, share reflections with other school communities, participate in activities that promote the formation of community among the high schools, and develop particular strategies to implement the values at the participant’s home school.
The goal of the AVI is to gain and deepen an appreciation of the Augustinian charism and style. The Institute creates a sense of community, appreciation, solidarity and mutual support for the Augustinian school mission. We look forward to hosting the Augustinian schools this weekend!
