Bannabikira Sisters Profess Their Vows

Last week, Austin Prep helped facilitate the perpetual vows liturgy for three of the Bannabikira Sisters who minister in the Austin Prep community. Sister Paskazia Nakitende, D.M., Sister Mary Namutebi, D.M., and Sister Maria Gorreth Nassali, D.M. professed their final vows as Daughters of Mary in a liturgy on August 19 at St. Ann’s Church in Peabody, where they reside. Because of complexities securing travel visas, they were unable to return home to Uganda for this milestone in their lives. Austin Prep was proud to stand with them as family during this important moment in their religious profession. Please join me extending hearty congratulations to the Sisters.
