Giving Day - A Note of Thanks

One of our core values, unitas, can be felt in all that we do at Austin Prep. Last Thursday, on our Annual Day of Giving, the Austin Prep community rose to the occasion in an overwhelming way, contributing over $258,000 to directly support tuition assistance and faculty professional development. We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of generosity the Austin Prep community demonstrated in recent weeks, and in particular on our Day of Giving. It remains heartwarming to experience just how strong a bond we share.

Annual giving is a source of indispensable support, bridging the gap between what is needed and what is possible. Your support this year has an even greater impact as we expand our efforts to provide immediate financial assistance to current students and families facing increased hardship and financial difficulties. Additionally, your gifts will provide needed dollars to invest in remote instructional platforms, and all of the associated software, hardware and technological resources such online platforms require, as well as impact our teachers’ professional development and training. You have helped make a tremendous difference in the lives of our families, at a time when they need us most.

If you missed our Day of Giving, you can still participate. Our goal of raising $300,000 in emergency funding remains unchanged. The timeline to do so culminates on June 30, which marks the end of our fiscal year. In this special hour of need, we ask that you support the Annual Fund. A gift of any size will make a tremendous difference. We hope you will join us as we all lead the charge to safeguard the value and the gift of an Austin Prep education.
