8th Graders Present Innovative Science Fair

The Austin Prep Middle School and Science Faculty hosted the 8th Grade Science Fair. This capstone experience provided 8th graders the opportunity to share and showcase research with family, faculty, experts drawn from various science fields, as well as a panel of faculty judges. All 92 8th graders completed their own experiment, which they began working on in October. While the Science Fair took place in the evening, earlier in the day 8th graders had a “test run” in the form of a school day viewing for fellow students and staff. You can view photos from the in school viewing here. The quality of projects and commitment from students and faculty was exceptional, and the night was innovative in an area of great interest for parents and students – STEM! You can view highlights from the evening in the video above.
