Austin Prep Celebrates All Saints' Day Mass

Austin Prep began the November Month of Remembrance on Tuesday, November 1st with a school-wide All Saints’ Day Mass celebrated by Fr. Michael Senfuma. Fr. Senfuma, a Boston Celtics fan, engaged students by energetically drawing parallels between the wonders of his first trip to TD Garden, and the experience of entering Heaven after a lifetime of contemplating what awaits upon our arrival.  “All Saints’ Day gives you perspective into what happens in Heaven. Despite different backgrounds, languages or cultures, when in Heaven you are with those who have triumphed and are in the presence of God,” Fr. Senfuma said. “Saints lead ordinary lives in extraordinary ways. Saints have a way of showing mercy to those in need. You can be a saint. You can choose to be among them. You can be one of them, as you, too, can show mercy to others.”
