The Austin Prep Choir had an unforgettable start to 2023, beginning with a New Year's Eve celebration in which they gathered in Saint Peter’s Square to greet and sing for Pope Francis, followed by a special Papal Mass in Saint Peter's Basilica on New Year's Day. You can view highlights here.
The New Year's festivities were the highlight for the group of nearly 100 Austin Prep pilgrims on an Italian tour with the Austin Prep Choir. This special trip also included Masses celebrated by Fr. Ray Dlugos, OSA, Austin Prep Trustee, and Fr. Patrick Armano, School Chaplain.
On January 2, the Austin Prep choir performed beautifully while connecting with our Augustinian heritage during a public concert in the Basilica of Sant’Agostino in Campo Marzio, the church devoted to St. Augustine, our patron saint.
