The Austin Prep community gathered for two shows this week of the annual Christmas tradition of Lessons and Carols, first with a performance for students during community meeting on Wednesday, December 13th, followed by a performance for parents of performers in the Chapel of St. Augustine on Thursday night, December 14th. The shows included traditional Christmas hymns and carols by the Austin Prep Choir, the Austin Prep 6th Grade Choir, and the Austin Prep Band, as well as scripture readings and short passages about the true meaning of the season. The night showcased the talents of Austin Prep students, who were led throughout the performance under the exceptional direction of Art and Design Faculty Member Mr. Wes Fowler. Photos from the Thursday show can be viewed here, as well as a video of Mark Tokarev '28 playing the piano.
