Visit Austin Prep
Admissions events give prospective students and families the opportunity to experience Austin Prep’s campus, community, academics, arts, athletics, and Augustinian Catholic mission firsthand. Located in Reading, Massachusetts, Austin Prep serves students in grades 6–12 from Greater Boston, the North Shore, the Merrimack Valley, and surrounding communities.
Explore Austin Prep through Open House programs, AM @ AP Admissions Mornings, Journey Days, campus tours, and other visit opportunities throughout the admissions season. Each offers a chance to meet members of our community, experience campus, and learn more about the Middle School and Upper School admissions process.

Summer Tours for Fall 2026 Applicants
The Admissions team will be hosting campus tours throughout the summer for families who are considering Austin Prep for Fall 2026 and are looking to make a quick enrollment decision. Families may email admissions@austinprep.org to sign up for a tour date below.

Summer Preview

5:00 p.m.–6:30 p.m.
Join Austin Prep for a summer admissions event designed for prospective families exploring grades 6–12. Families will have the opportunity to visit campus, connect with the Admissions Team, and learn more about the Austin Prep experience before the school year begins.
AM @ AP: Admissions Morning
Select Wednesdays at 9:00 a.m.
Experience Austin Prep during a typical school day at AM @ AP, an intimate Admissions Morning for prospective families. Hear from school leadership, tour campus with a student ambassador, and see our classrooms and community in action.
Upcoming dates include September 30, November 4, and December 2, 2026, and January 13 and April 7, 2027.
Fall Open House

Explore the Middle and Upper School Open House at Austin Prep. Tour classrooms and labs, meet students and faculty, and experience a welcoming community and dynamic learning environment designed to inspire curiosity, leadership, and growth.
Journey Days
By reservation
Journey Days begin the week of September 28, 2026 and continue during the school year. These days allow prospective students to spend part of the school day shadowing an Austin Prep student and experiencing campus life firsthand. Reservations are required and can be made by contacting the Office of Admissions.

Families can register for admissions events using the event links listed on this page or through the Inquiry Portal when prompted. Submitting an inquiry also gives families access to event registration and next steps in the admissions process.
What is the difference between Open House, AM @ AP, and Journey Days?
Open House is a larger campus-wide admissions event where families can tour campus, meet students and faculty, and explore Austin Prep’s programs. AM @ AP is a smaller Admissions Morning that gives families a look at Austin Prep during a typical school day. Journey Days allow prospective students to shadow an Austin Prep student and experience part of the school day.
Can prospective students visit during the school day?
Yes. Journey Days give prospective students the opportunity to shadow an Austin Prep student, attend classes, meet faculty, and experience campus life. Visits are personalized by grade level and interests.
