Tuition Assistance for the 2027–2028 School Year
Austin Prep provides tuition assistance to approximately 35% of students through a needs-based grant program. Heritage Grant Awards help defray the cost of education for families who qualify based on demonstrated financial need.
Austin Prep uses FACTS Financial Aid and Grant Assessment to evaluate tuition assistance requests. The Financial Aid Committee reviews requests for new students after they are accepted for admission and for current students who are in good standing.
Families should complete the application carefully and upload all required income tax documentation. Applications that are incomplete, do not include financial information from both parents when applicable, or are missing supporting documentation will not be considered.
Financial Aid Process and Timeline
November 1, 2026
The Austin Prep Financial Aid Application opens for the 2027–2028 school year.
December 15, 2026
Priority deadline for 2027–2028 tuition assistance requests. Requests completed after this date may be awarded on a rolling basis depending on the availability of financial aid funds.
January 31, 2027
Austin Prep Online Enrollment opens.
February 14, 2027
Deadline to accept financial aid awards by completing the 2027–2028 enrollment agreement.
Important Information About Tuition Assistance
- A financial aid application must be completed in advance of each school year by the priority deadline in order to be considered for tuition assistance for the subsequent school year.
- The FACTS application must reflect the financial information of both living parents when applicable. In situations where parents are separated or divorced, two FACTS applications may be filed to satisfy this requirement.
- Complete tax documents are required to be considered for an award. 2025 taxes and W-2s are required by December 15, 2026. 2026 taxes and W-2s are required to be uploaded by April 15, 2027, to maintain the award.
- Financial aid award notices are posted to the online enrollment portal and are reflected on the online enrollment agreement.
- Late applications submitted after a new student is accepted or after the online enrollment agreement is released are not reviewed unless the family notifies the Financial Aid Committee at apfinancialaid@austinprep.org.
