Transfer Applicants

We welcomed new 10th, 11th and 12th grade students to the Austin Prep community for the 2023-2024 academic year.

Thank you for expressing interest in Austin Prep! Below are the steps for students applying to Austin Prep for grade 10 and 11.

Step 1: Submit the Inquiry Form

Create your Admissions Portal account by submitting the Inquiry Form. Once your account has been created, you can schedule a visit and complete the application for admission. After creating an account, you may access the portal through the Admissions Portal Login button on this page.

Step 2: Complete Online Application

Once you pay the application fee and fill out the remaining demographic information the rest of the application will populate including teacher recommendations, student and parent questionnaires and transcripts. A standardized test such as the PSAT, PACT, SAT or ACT is not required but encouraged.

When all application steps are complete, the transfer applications are reviewed by the admissions committee on a rolling basis . If applying for tuition assistance, the admissions and financial aid applications must be completed for the application to be reviewed.

Step 3: Student/Family Visit and Interview

For students applying to grades 10 and 11 a school visit and interview with a member of the Admissions Review Committee is required. To schedule either of these call the Office of Admissions at 781-944-4900 ext. 4770 or email admissions@austinprep.org.

Journey Days are offered Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday of each week. Tours are offered Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday both in the morning and afternoon.

Step 4: Entrance Exam

A standardized test such as the PSAT, PACT, SAT or ACT is not required but encouraged.
