Austin Prep Admissions is Thriving

Accepted students receiving welcome package from Austin Prep admissions office

Accepted Austin Prep students receive a special package upon acceptance to the school.

With the loss of in-person shadow days, school fairs, and the annual Open House, Austin Prep’s Admissions team redesigned the admissions process. This cycle introduced virtual shadow days, a redesigned merit scholarship process, and a virtual Open House. These innovations resulted in a 36% increase in applications and a 33% increase in accepted students.

The 2021–22 academic year is projected to include an admissions waitlist, with both 8th and 9th grades currently full.

Choosing to Become a Legacy Family

We frequently hear from alumni whose experiences at Austin Prep shaped their success beyond graduation. This section highlights alumni families whose children and grandchildren now attend the school, sharing stories of returning to the Austin Prep community.
