Passionate and engaged alumni who stay involved and invested in the future of the
school enable Austin Prep to continue to grow and flourish. Alumni are the heartbeat of

the school, and we hope you will demonstrate your unitas with fellow alumni and current
students in the months and years ahead. Here are some current ways you can be
involved.

Class Agent
- Every class needs champions that spearhead reunions, share news, and
help to keep classmates in touch with each other. It can be as simple as
arranging a small dinner to catch up with old friends or working directly with the Office of Alumni Engagement to plan reunions and events.

Host an Event
- Staying connected with your fellow classmates and other Austin Prep
graduates is not always easy, especially when everyone is spread out
around the country. We are looking for alumni to help host events in your
region of the country or maybe at a business that you own and run.

Reunions
- Whether celebrating a 5-year reunion or 50th we need alumni to help with
the planning of these momentous occasions. Creating excitement and
encouraging classmates to attend are some of the most important ways to
help. It is never too early to start planning.

Career Day
- Career day is a terrific opportunity for our alumni to share their
professional experiences with current Austin Prep students. This is one of
the most notable events for students and alumni to connect, it can be a life
changing experience for everyone involved.

Alumni Council
- The Alumni Council is a group of dedicated and passionate alumni that aim
to strengthen the relationship between the school and its alumni base by
inspiring each other to live the values of veritas, unitas, and caritas. Open
to all years and backgrounds.

Fundraising: Austin Prep Fund Alumni Ambassadors
- The Austin Prep Fund (the annual fund) is the primary way for alumni, parents, and friends to support the School and directly impact a student’s current Austin Prep experience. Funds are put to immediate use, allowing the School to offset costs in real time and invest in priorities that otherwise would not be supported, such as: modern classroom technology, improved campus facilities, tuition assistance, enriched student programming and co- curricular activities, and teaching innovation through multidimensional faculty professional development opportunities.
- Austin Prep Fund Alumni Ambassadors help to reconnect alumni with the
current fundraising initiatives of the School. Volunteer engagement with the
broader alumni community is one of the most persuasive factors in increasing
alumni participation and overall giving. One of the ways to achieve this is by
reaching out to classmates to encourage their support and participation in the
Austin Prep Fund.
