The Austin Prep Girls Basketball program competes at the highest level of New England prep school basketball in the highly competitive NEPSAC Class AA division. In 2025, the Cougars earned a berth in the NEPSAC Class AA Tournament, highlighting the program's continued growth and its ability to compete with the region's top independent schools.

Austin Prep provides student-athletes with exceptional opportunities to pursue basketball at the collegiate level. Through participation in premier summer showcase events and a demanding NEPSAC schedule, players gain exposure to a large number of college coaches representing every level of NCAA basketball. The program is committed to developing fundamentally sound players, fostering leadership and teamwork, and preparing student-athletes for success both in college and beyond.
