Girls Varsity Hockey

Austin Prep Girls Hockey is built on a strong tradition of competitiveness, development, and pride. As a member of the NEPSAC and the Vaillancourt Conference, the Cougars compete against many of New England's premier prep school programs while fostering a culture centered on discipline, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Through high-level practices, off-ice training, and a commitment to player development, student-athletes are challenged to build confidence, refine their skills, and reach their full potential. The program emphasizes excellence in every aspect of the student-athlete experience—on the ice, in the classroom, and within the community—while developing leaders of character in a supportive and positive environment.

The 2025–2026 season further cemented the program's place among the region's elite. Austin Prep advanced to the Vaillancourt Conference Championship for the third consecutive season, demonstrating the consistency and competitiveness that have become hallmarks of the program. The Cougars also captured the prestigious St. George's Winter Classic Tournament, a championship that features many of the top prep school programs in the NEPSAC. These accomplishments reflect the program's continued commitment to excellence and its tradition of competing for championships while preparing student-athletes for success both on and off the ice.
