Over the past month, students in Honors Biology classes taught by Mrs. Lori Lambert-Osburn (Science Faculty) have been taking part in their own version of the Olympic Games. In order to better remember the meanings of certain processes, students paired up to represent different countries and competed in multiple competitions - such as matching prefixes and suffixes with the same meaning, completing crossword puzzles with root words and unscrambling prefixes and suffixes.
A Block Honors Biology received the highest overall score out of the five classes. Bronze medal went to "Sweden" represented by Grace Ardito ’21 and Eddie Wei ’21; silver medal went to "China" represented by Faith Moran ’21 and Sydney Raza ’21; and the gold medal went to "Germany" represented by Ranjini Iyengar ’21 and Ethan Luongo ’21.
