Liturgical Life

Austin Prep celebrates seven All-School Masses throughout the year, uniting our community in prayer and worship while providing opportunities for spiritual growth and reflection. These Masses include the Convocation Mass, Blue Mass honoring police, firefighters, and first responders, Immaculate Conception Mass, Ash Wednesday Mass, Vocation Mass, Ascension Mass, and Baccalaureate Mass. Alongside these school-wide celebrations, monthly community Masses, including three Varsity Athletic Masses, further foster a sense of unity and deepen the spiritual lives of students, faculty, parents, and friends of Austin Prep. Each school day begins with prayer led by students, cultivating a culture of faith and gratitude across the campus. Daily Mass is offered in the chapel for students, faculty, and staff, and Eucharistic Adoration takes place every Thursdays. in the Chapel of St. Augustine, offering Theology classes a dedicated time for prayer and reflection

Students at Austin Prep also have the opportunity to deepen their faith through various sacraments and devotions. During Advent and Lent, students are invited to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation as part of their Theology classes, allowing them to reflect on and reconcile their relationship with God. In May and October, the entire school community comes together to participate in the All-School Rosary, fostering devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. During Lent, the Stations of the Cross are observed, offering students a reflective journey through Christ's Passion and encouraging spiritual growth during this sacred season. These practices help students grow in faith, reflection, and their personal connection to the Church’s traditions.
