In the spirit of our patron, St. Augustine, Austin Prep has made a number of domestic and international trips available for students. We embrace the idea that life is an incredible journey filled with opportunities for exploration and discovery. The theme of the journey is inherent to our Augustinian mission. Our patron encourages us to turn the pages of the world and uncover the richness of diverse cultures and beautiful landscapes as we do so. Each new experience, each adventure, adds another chapter to the story of our lives and our appreciation of the human experience.
Austin Prep students in Grades 6-12 have the opportunity to enrich their journeys through global travel. International destinations have included: Australia, Canada, Costa Rica, France, Greece, Ecuador, Italy, New Zealand, Panama, Peru, the United Kingdom, and Vatican City.
These trips are more than just travel experiences; they are transformative adventures that distinguish Austin Prep and its students as seekers of knowledge and champions of cultural understanding. By participating in these journeys, our students and teachers go beyond the ordinary and gain an appreciation for our world and the human experience. This unique and special opportunity sets Austin Prep apart, reinforcing our commitment to a holistic education that goes beyond the textbooks. Through travel, students gain a perspective that prepares them to navigate their interconnected future with empathy, curiosity, and a profound understanding of the world and how they can contribute to it.
